About BlockchainRPG

BlockchainRPG is a hunting-based role-playing game (RPG) built on the WAX blockchain. It blends the classic, nostalgic feel of the RPGs many of us grew up with — hunting monsters, gathering loot, crafting gear, and growing stronger — with true digital ownership of the items you earn. Every meaningful item in the game is an NFT or token that belongs to the player, not the studio, and can be freely traded, bought, or sold with other adventurers.

This site, docs.blockchainrpg.io, is the official knowledge base for the game. It exists to help both new and experienced players understand how BlockchainRPG works — from creating a wallet and going on your first hunt, to advanced systems like crafting, artifacts, bosses, and the in-game economy.

Our Mission​

We set out to build a play-and-earn RPG that puts gameplay first. Many blockchain games are designed primarily as financial instruments; we wanted the opposite — a genuinely fun, ever-expanding game where the economy supports the experience rather than replacing it. Our goals are simple:

  • Deliver a fun, immersive RPG experience that keeps growing with new features and content.
  • Foster a community built on teamwork and friendly competition.
  • Introduce people to blockchain technology through familiar, approachable gaming.

What We Value​

These principles guide how we build and run the game:

  • Fairness for all. Every player faces the same drop tables, the same packs, and the same odds. We actively work against bots, automated software, multi-accounting, and contract exploitation to keep the playing field level.
  • Transparency. Because the game runs on a public blockchain, anyone can verify transactions, drops, and ownership for themselves. Nothing important happens in a black box.
  • Expansive gameplay. Our team is continuously shipping new features, mechanics, and content so there's always something new to do.
  • A healthy marketplace. We design around playing the game rather than flipping items, with safeguards against insider advantage, so the in-game economy stays sustainable.

BlockchainRPG is developed and operated by Pandora Tech LLC, an independent game studio.

BlockchainRPG is a live game in active development, with a long history of regular releases and seasonal events. Community events — including recurring holiday events — have been part of the game since its early days.

How the Game Works (at a Glance)​

If you're new, here's the short version of what playing BlockchainRPG looks like:

  1. Set up a WAX wallet and recruit a Character NFT to represent you in the world of Aurum.
  2. Hunt monsters across a variety of hunting grounds to earn GOLD, equipment, crafting materials, and rare NFTs.
  3. Craft and upgrade better gear, equip artifacts, and grow your character's stats.
  4. Compete and trade — climb the leaderboard, take on community bosses, and buy, sell, or trade your items with other players.
